Palm Beach Nuclear medicine scanning is just one of the many specialized services that we offer our patients here at Medical Diagnostic Scans. This service is offered in order to prevent you from having a major medical emergency in the future. When we are performing the nuclear scan, we use a specific camera to capture images of radioactivity, following a radioactive tracer substance that is injected in the body through a particular organ. Board certified doctor, Dr. N. Henry Pevsner and his team are able to use the tracers to determine any normal or abnormal activity within the specialized organs; which includes the functioning of the brain, liver function, heart function, and blood supply to the heart muscle. We can satisfy your physicians request to take a more detailed look into exactly what may be causing you discomfort.
Here at Medical Diagnostic Scans, we are proud to be fully staffed with trained technicians who are fully prepared to administer any tests you need, in order to gather an internal detailed scope of what may be causing you pain or discomfort. We do not administer any painful procedures, including the Palm Beach Nuclear Medicine Scanning. With the exception of being injected with a small needle in your vein, you will not experience much pain. Through our years of service, we have not experienced allergic reactions to our procedures or tools. In the event that a reaction does occur, we are fully prepared to take any necessary action. Once you arrive at our state of the art facility, you will be welcomed by our courteous staff, who is fully prepared to answer any questions you may have regarding your test.
